4 Hours Home Cooking Class in Addis Ababa
Tour Summary
This cooking class takes you to an Ethiopian local home kitchen where you learn and then bake Ethiopian staple food called Injeraa, type of foam-textured pancake that comes in three different colored varieties: white, brown and red. The dough for Injera is fermented for three days before it is cooked, hence the texture and a slightly sour taste. Side by side you engage in cooking the popular Ethiopian stew known as Shiro wot (spicy puréed chickpeas). Then after, you will make a coffee with freshly roasted coffee beans with the help of your host.
